When reality invades games
Fallout 3 is a great game. Ok, so you do a lot of fetch-quests, and the ending is nothing to write home about. But the rest of the core game experience is really fun. Wandering about a post-apocalyptic world with a pet dog, scrounging together bits of anything just to create usable weapons, and the ability to target specific parts of an enemy's body all work to make a great single-player experience.
Now it looks like they'll be releasing some additional downloadable content for the game next month. What's the first bit of DLC gonna look like? I'm glad you asked:

Maybe you'll be able to shoot guns while riding a moose.
This isn't the first game to use dreary ol' AK as a backdrop, actually. The original Metal Gear Solid for Playstation took place entirely on Alaska's Fox Islands.

Fact: Alaska is drenched in tints of blue and green...except when it's just black.
Now, if you'll exsuse me, I'm going to go play some online games, tell people I'm playing from Alaska and that my computer is running off of my igloo's generator--powered by a polar bear running on a treadmill.

Operation: Anchorage Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe – the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders.
